Brooding and paint-spattered I sweep my brush
across a wide expanse of emptiness.
No horizon beckons me, only imagination,
broad in its scope, hungry for a new beginning.

My welling anger recalls another time like this.
In frenzied swirls my harnessed energy sought
perfection, fulfilment, in the laboured task, yet
ended on a sorrowing note of bleak depression.

Render to Disc on apo?????? AGAIN

Okay, am I not understanding this render to disk on apophysis. Does that mean you put a disk in the drive, click on render to disk and the flame image will burn onto the disk?
When I went to render to disk a box came up to send it to destination pictures/folder/apo. When I hit render, it went into that folder in pictures as a png image.
If I tried to burn it on disk, a box came up "Directory does not exist".
Is that because I sent it to that picture folder before...

When I got a new computer and installed pspx2, the font names on the font list are not english. The language was set at english. Is there anyway I can change the names to english?

Question re Apophysis & psp

This may sound dumb BUT when you get a flame you like in apo-, how do you then work with it with your pictures folder. I have been exporting the flame to a folder in pictures, then open it in psp. However to bring other pictures into the flame image, psp gets locked up. SO what am I doing wrong?

I made my first visit to Raven's today and was amazed to find the former skin back again! I didn't register my reaction to the new black look, as I felt my posting rate (insignificant compared to most here) didn't entitle an opinion, but I do read and admire every day. Now I will say I really didn't care for the dark look, and I find this "traditional" much easier on my eyes. Bottom line is, though, that I'll come here all the time, no matter what background,...

Gone quiet on the challenge front so here's one to try -

Here's 6 images (decent size to allow playing with) and you have to use at least 2 of them in your entry.(parts of them or altered, whatever) and the challenge finishes on Sunday 15th November at 23.00 hrs GMT.

You can have up to 3 entries each.

So what's the theme? - Well simply the winning image should make me feel .......calm, relaxed, chilled out and at peace with the world.
