I am new to this Raven's Paint Shop Pro. I would like to know where I can learn how to make a floating banner like the ones they used to use as advertising from an airplane. I would also like to know how to make like a star design that floats around like in a circle. I would like to use it in my web site. I hope I am explaining myself correctly. On the first layer I started piled on the holly from the tube box........second layer I appled the flash and then again on the third layer more holly and Consellation..........Christams trees can be made from any tube you have!

PhotoShop has a highly touted feature called the "Quick Mask". Well, so does PSP, and I'll show you how to put into use.

In the main PSP window, click on an empty part of the menu bar, choose "Customize,"

How to use tubes?

Hi:

I know how to use tubes.

What I'd like to be able to do is use it in such a way where I can pick and choose. Let me clarify. I have a tube with flowers(a few actually) the problem is that each tube has four flowers in each set(example daisy, rose, violets and sunflowers). How do I set that tube(or other tubes) to use just one flower (or object) at a time from that set or is that even possible???

Cloning tool

I may be the last to know this, but I just discovered that the cloning tool can function between layers and even between other (open) images. You can right-click to capture the desired area from one layer and then left-click to start the cloning on a new layer in the same image or in a new image. Guess it makes sense, since the clone tool basically copies and pastes, but this is an easy way to combine elements, e.g., between two photos.

(I discovered this method while exploring effects today. It may be new only to me, but I've never seen it before).

If you can't find a frame that's just right for your image, here's a way to make one from the image. It's easy, fast (a couple of minutes) and matches the colors and image size exactly.

How to straighten curves

Can anyone give me a tip on how to smoothly straighten the red line on the following picture?
In reality, of course, it is a horizontal line - a curved one since the organ is built into a semicircular alcove, and the telephoto has put a lot of curve into the picture too. I can make the columns vertical, but it ends up looking silly with the column capitals at a 30 degree angle.

I've tried the normal lens correction tools and the various distortion and geometric tools....

Hello my first time here but i create clothing for a virtural world called Second Life i am useing psp11 and am wonder if anyone knows how to go about useing a lace fabric texture in a milti layered dress that i am makeing i just want the lace to chow through in parts normaly when i finish makeing something i merge visible then "mask" out all the area i want to be invisable (like cut out dress shape) then save to alpha then delete the mask layer . when uploaded as clothing and end...

I started from scratch in order to remember the steps I took, and eventually got close to the original that was posted.

I cropped it. then resized the canvas to make more room on the left side.

I can't do it as I only have a photobucket storage and you need to have a host to get a URL. I have many songs saved on my computer and a great version of Harbor Lights that runs for 3 and a half minutes that I could send to anyone as an attachment through Gmail.......

Jagged Edges!

That is one of my site problems that keeps coming back to haunt me, every time I see those ragged graphics... How about some quick advice on how to cleanup edges on odd-shaped graphics? My navigation buttons are oval shaped. Now on a light colored or white BG that would be fine, of course (well, i assume). But on a darker color, needless to say it is showing badly. It's even more obvious now on a larger screen, where any flaws are made plain!
