Hi:

Does anyone know where I can get a Plugin-Manger that's free???

I came across a few like Plugin-Commander and the Filter's Ulimited but unfortunately they aren't free although what I could see of Filters Unlimited it's very nice but still not free. :-(

Hwere's a link to some nifty scripts. I really like the one that lays out all the channels in layers for you. Much easier than splitting to rgb and then layering it manually

Compatibility question

I'm looking to replace the plugins I lost following TGCC. I'm looking at The Plugin Site, Harry's Filters, compatibility. Paint Shop Pro isn't listed under the Corel software. Any comments from the experts on this site would be welcome. It just seemed odd to me that the plugins could be compatible with so many other kinds of software but not PSP. Many thanks. Penny

The best way to find Plugins is to browse thru these archives ......and or if someone mentions a plugin/filter you are interested in google it...it will usually give you several sites from which you can download for free or pay to use..........

using sinedots filter

First off I would like to say a BIG HELLO to you all and what a wonderful site you have here.
I used PSP years ago and have just started using it again with version 8 and am having trouble getting sinedots to work. I have Sinedots.aex and Sinedots2.aex in my plug-ins folder and I have tried making a Sinedots folder within plug-ins and extracting them to there but when I go to effects/plug-ins its not there, it's very frustrating because I remember having lots of fun with it and hope...

This isn't a plugin .

Outliner question

The way I've been using this filter is to first dupe the layer I want to work on, then apply the filter. I generally want only the black outline, but I find no way to get a transparent background. I end up deleting the white, but I've never seen mention of this step. Is this the usual technique? I'm not sure about the few optional settings, either; I've experimented, but the results haven't given me a clear understanding of their interaction. Any comments would be...

but just downloaded
Edge Art.....every bit as good as outliner
Good Vibrations....super fun lil filter to play with
Marble Mask....for texture

These were created for Photo Shop, but the abr viewer (discussed in this forum) makes them readily adaptable for PSP. I hope you will enjoy these and the other materials on the site, too!

Ufx is a stand alone programe that I downloaded from Bob's list of filters!
I'm thinkin' I like this very much......it wont be hard to learn and its easy to transfer the image you create in there to your PSP programe and vice/ versa!
This is just one example of just one of the many super unusual "filters" it has.....you dont have to animate and you can take an image you have created in PSP to Ufx by copy and paste!
