Try promoting your drawing to a layer then add a new layer underneath. Select the green color from the original and make the new layer the one active. Now, with a brush set to 40% soft, paint using the white in the top layer as a guide and change the top layer blend mode to darken. As you paint the green will replace the white in the top layer and it is easy to erase any green which may bleed over into the character without risk to the character.
JimL

Morning

I am assuming by the little blocks you are refering too are the white around your photo?

IF that is the case there is a number of ways to tend to it. USe your rope on a point to point and go as close to he image as possible taking small sections out at a time.

The other is you can use your easer adjust it so it's on a 1 point or removes 1 pixel at a time and erase them that way.

Hope this helps

Always
Kimariaus
AKA
Kimberly
