You might also try:

-link exchanges with friends
-link exchanges with sites that are compatible with yours
-including a link as part of your signature in forums that allow them
-including a link as part of your e-mail signature

Most will tell you up-front, that frames and trackers don't work to well together.
It's the same with search engines and frames.

I think it ( frames code ) tends to confuse the script?
