I guess as far as JASC and Corel felt/fell about A.S., it wasn't worth upgrading. Unfortunate. It hasn't been improved since it's initial release.

Corel has started charging for Animation Shop, don't understand why because it hasn't been upgraded in a long, long time.

You might want to do a Google search for a free animation program before you spend money on Animation Shop.
