I thought, I had the borders figured out. I got them in and they worked, but it's like they are all the wrong size. I will have to study a bit more to find the problem...it may not be worth it :-)

I got the brushes, no problem.
I pointed the Deep Paint "Canvas" folder to my PSP9 texture folder, that seems to be working.

However, I'm not sure how to use the 'Borders'. Do they go in Picture Frames and if so, do I change the file ending ? How ?

-In Resource/Brush you'll find 3 folders with regular jpgs. Just open them in PSP, Invert, Flatten then use the wand or whatever to select the brush shape and "Create brush tip from selection."

-There's a folder full of borders that you can probably use as well.

I doubt that I will ever 'draw' anything (not being an artist). I am planning on using the 'Cloning' feature, a lot. :-)

If the Texture Paints don't work for you this is what you will need to do to fix them.

I thought the easiest thing to try was, find the Deep Paint file and copy/paste into the plugin file.....it worked :-)

Now, I have one more question. I have never had a Paint program (like, you can't tell).

What file ending are you using so that you can go back and forth between the programs ? I don't have PhotoShop. I use PSP 9 and I'm used to using the .psp file for working and I doubt that will work.

I downloaded the zip file, but, I haven't installed it, yet.

I'm a little confused about the plugins. If I make it free standing, will the plugins also go in the PSP 'plugin' folder ? Does it work both ways, as a freestanding, and as plugins ?

When you install it you can install it in your plugins folder -it says photoshop but then if you don't have it it will allow you to browse. I don't understand how it works now but if you open both programs you can send and fetch an image from one program to the other so I guess you can applly effects in each or you can use it as a standalone painter.

I went to the programs home site lookin for a bit more info, and couldn't find it listed ( just the 3D version ).
