I think Myst was the first computer game I tried, I enjoyed it but then I found PSP..

It's a forum for a series of adventure games...the first one being "Myst", which came out back in 1993...then followed every 3-4 years by sequels. Over the years a huge following (community) has developed, and there are quite a number of successful sites/forums for the game, which has its own "ancient history" and culture....

Super......the avatars look great.......Thank you Fallstar for the instructions......I'm not very savvey when it comes to the ways of Yuku I did belong to a group that was trying it out instead of MSN......but no one liked it.....lol.....I dodnt know where they went!

Yes, Richie's forum is pretty quiet. I think everyone has given up on him showing up there.

It's always fun playing/working with the doo-dads of new forum software. The forum I moderate goes through many versions of software, most of which the owner codes himself.

Speaking of forums...I hadn't been to Richie's forum (pinoy7) in a long time, so I went there yesterday. Felt bad because none of the regulars go there anymore (including Richie)...but I replied to as many new posts asking for help as I could. Today I was going to...

Okay, I saved my old 60x60 avvie onto a 100x100 transparent background, and optimized it as png...then uploaded it.

...and it works! yay! edit again...but now the text background of this post is white! ugh!

I wonder if the settings will accept .png format? If it does, you can place your originally-sized avatar on a transparent background of the new size...that way it should keep your avatar the original size. I'll test to see if png images are accepted.

That looks super......I can only spec on how you did that......I am trying to get away from the usual noise glitter and the sparkle stuff......but sometimes in order to make it "POP", I do it.......the "Rings and Things"Frame was done with 4 frames in AS,and in each frame on the part that looks like "icicles" I "sharpened" it with the tool all the way down , bit by bit in each frame......Oh I hope your computer hangs in there......what ever would we do...

Chey, we have a board for animation..feel free to post anything in there. I've never made a "flip" book. I usually do simple things like this.

Chuck has been doing some Flash work for a while now, I know nothing about it and my computer is just barely hanging on so I'm not pushing it with anything new.

Me neither, Nan. If memory is serving me, I think they also allow Flash animations. If I'm right, I'll probably go that direction..then again, maybe not.

That was a complete dramazatation,ofcourse.......there is no way I'm runnin out of food.....its all finger food I call "computer fuel"...lol......well I only have a 40 gig HD that I put in last November...and I'm always having to burn my files to keep it under 50%......lol.....My good 19"monitor went out not too long ago and I am using a 15" spare.......so yes a nice wide flat BIG screen would be wonderful...and a goal of mine.......Thanks on the avatar.....its...
