That is a super image.......I think that tuts ,for the most part, just gives "some"
direction, and that our instincts take over .........I love it!

Okay, I screwed some of it up....I cheated a little.....I made up steps as I went along....but I think it's not to bad for a first try...

I didn't like the way the center was turning out so I used Fur and EC Jiggle to puff it up some...I tried using the Lighten/Darken tool to give me some more stuff to smudge and I had to delete the outline after I accidently merged and smudged that...etc etc..I didn't follow...

Progress report...I spent most of the day trying to decide on something to try and draw..found a flower that looked easy...the outline didn't give me much trouble, the coloring didn't give me much trouble..the shading sure didn't seem to be working out too well at all..

Anyway, I saw a few things that I could probably do better so I gave up for tonight and I'll start over again tomorrow

Thanks Nanson......I have a collection of feathers......I found an Eagles flight feather here and gave it to the BLM because they are illegal to possess, they gave it back, as soon as they found out I didnt commit murder to get it......lol!

Bob, I'm going to give your tut a try as soon as I get some time to relax and concentrate...have a question though. Looking at the tut it looks like you painted the main color with a brush size of 1? Is that just for the edges or the whole flower?

I did these a while back......I needed some feathers and couldnt find any so I decided to make my own.....it took me 4ever to pull out all those lil feathers ends......lol! Its now a tube and brush......I dont want to have to do them again real soon.....lol!

Its like the thingy Buckus uses to show the play in football!
Lil circles and eXX......and pad with a pencil hooked up to the computer used instead of the mouse!
Its also called a signiture pad.......LOL!

I belong too,,, its a little tut for drawing from a photo,,,,, these people at this forum between us never saw a pencil before to draw,, but damn they can take some outstanding photos,,,,, so it balances out ROFL
