FTP Programs

I have always avoided using FTP clients, mostly because they seemed too complex for me...and for my websites, I just used the built-in ftp feature that comes
with Dreamweaver. I recently went searching (via Google) for a free but easy-to-use client, and came across this company that offers two types of ftp programs.
One is Fling, which basically uses Windows Explorer to upload, and can be automated. Classic FTP is more like the standard client that allows you to manually
transfer files...

I'm not a programmer, that's for sure...but I *did* do some FORTRAN and JCL programming waaay back in my Navy days. In those days, there weren't
many PCs, mostly remote terminals connected to the mainframes...and internet was very young, used mostly by DOD, before the world wide web. My work uses some
Python, but I haven't quite caught onto that yet.
