Never mind, I won the battle in the end. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. It's ok now.

David, I haven't used PSP 7 for a while but I tried it, I clicked on the Pen Tool and drew a curve with and without anti-alias...I don't know why it's greyed out for you

Thank you Nanson, but the Antialias box is greyed out on the Tool Options window.

Chay, it doesn't make any difference what type of line I draw, or its width. They are all rough. I don't see anywhere which mentions nodes.

......and or.......check your line width where you see your pen, nodes etc.....
Click on those lil arrows and reveal the Line Style/Width, They may have gone back to default if you havent used it in a while!

This evening, after not using PSP for a while, I noticed that any lines I draw are noticeably more coarse than they were. It 'feels' as if a setting somewhere has been changed, but I haven't a clue what.

The first example is of a bezier curve I drew some months ago. The second is one I drew this evening - you can see how coarse it is compared with the other.

Can anyone suggest why this may be?
