Once you desaturate the image all you need to do is use the "blinds" effect. Just adjust the settings until you like what you see..
 At least that's what it looks like to me.  |

I think the easiest way is to go to Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize..set them both to 0.

When I first got here I was reading some of the post and remembered this one.......There is a filter that will make wonderful texture you are seeking
It called "Jeux de Ligne" I tried it and it works very well! Bob just put up a list of filters and its on there as "Jeu de Ligne" I knew ligne meant line...so I found it in my stach....and tried it......its here http://ravenspaintshoppro.yuku.com/topic/2813/master/1/?page=1 
Working in layers.....just the tower is "lined" 
Here the piece is merged and then lined..... Its adjustable within the filter! Hope this helps also! Loves C |

Thank you for this link. Now I have a huge question... Help! LOL I know its not a question!!! I unzipped this and went back to my PSP and all my plug ins are gone  Help!
What The heck did I do and how do I get them all back??? Please help, I obvious did something wrong.

Yeah, omg, this has my head spinning. I know its probably something really simple too! My flaming and xero is gone and the only thing showing is the eyecandy 4
trial under plug ins. Hmm, I restarted it a few times now. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

This has happened to me too........Did you installed when you were out of PSP?......but as Nanson said.......I think that if you shut it down and reboot your
programe ,you will regain them all back!......when it happened to me I was horrified and had to take a Bayer.......but they all came back!

No, I really don't panic I just usually freak! Hahaha
Okay I just restarted my system and no go. Only Flaming and eyecandy is showing... 
I even went to file, pref, and fil loc and checked there... Xero and my freebies are gone... I guess I should just extract thm again??? Ya think? Nightcrawler |

Okay it gets weird now... I just went to extract Xero again and it told me it is already in the folder! It shows them but for some reason they are not showing
up in my program under plug ins...

Try cleaning out the cache files?
It's one of the options on the reset preferences.

Nope that didn't work. Same two there now.
Umm, I am not sure what to do, maybe delete all the plug ins from the folder and start over? I am unsure if I should unzip with tugzip and extract to the plug ins folder. Would this be okay? I forgot how I did this before. LOL CRS syndrome!
