I often have a tut open and vertically tiled with PSP for easy following. After upgrading to FF 3.0, I found I lost the vertical scroll bar when I resized the
window to share with PSP (this occurred beyond at width levels less than about 550 pixels wide). Since this didn't happen in the safe mode, I was sure it
was extension related, and I went through a lengthy trial and error procedure of disabling and re-enabling various combinations of extensions. (I'd already
reverted to the default theme.) I finally figured out the problem was related to the Navigation Toolbar! Many extensions allow for or add a button to this bar,
and at some point it can get "over-crowded"; the toolbar itself doesn't seem to re-size, and even the address box disappears as the window size
shrinks. As soon as I used the View command to hide this toolbar, I could resize as far down as I wanted and retain the scroll bar, allowing me to work easily
in both windows.

I have all three checked, though. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
