Posts: 11 09/08/07 3:48	Tags : None Just wanted to say hello to everyone since I'm new. Boy, am I glad I found this place! I'm not so savvy with PSP and need all the help I can find. My question is, is it possible for me to make a banner with animation to the left and just text to the right? Here is an example of what I want to make.... Thanks in advance!

Registered User Posts: 5233 09/09/07 9:55 AWOL From Life	Hi Petals, welcome to the forum.. If you have the animation already done it's pretty easy to add it to a banner. You need to open the animation in Animation Shop and check how many frames it needs. You'll need multiple copies of your banner, open them in Animation Shop. Add each frame of the animation to a banner copy. Save that as a animation and you'll have your banner with an animation in it.

Posts: 11 09/09/07 5:14	Thank you for the welcome. No, I don't have any animations made yet. Since I'm new to all this, I'm testing out a simple banner with just a photo to the left. I have the black plain banner with text, but, when I try and add a photo it doesn't keep it's size? I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I resized the photo to 100x100, saved as .jpeg, closed it, reopened, dragged and dropped and then it gets huge again.

Posts: 11 09/09/07 10:38	Finally....I got it to work for me. Now, if I can get together the counting of how many frames I will need to animate it! Do you have any ideas as to what would make it look cooler and give it an effect since it's not animated? Something cool but not so busy that will make it look cluttered.

Registered User Posts: 5233 09/10/07 10:25 AWOL From Life	Animation Shop has some effects on the menu you could try. Back lighting might be something to go with your text and black background.

Posts: 11 09/10/07 11:32	Actually, I was palying around with the backlight effect last night. Only thing I'm confused about is how come it won't backlight the existing text on my banner? It asks me to enter text and won't accept it if I leave the box blank. Is there something I'm missing or do I have to start from scartch through animation shop?

Here's a page with links to animation tutorials but I was just looking for one to help you with this and there's a lot of bad links.
