Maybe we can draw more response and partisipation on the boards! .........and have a bit of fun...a good way to ask questions learn what others are interested in......how to do new things! No time limit.........but if its ok I may from time to time put up more challenges! Loves C |

You know, I went thru pic after pic, before I chose one for this board, and for my old Avatar, and never was truly satisfied. A while back, I changed the
graphic for the splash page ( no Raven on it ) and got chastised for removing the Raven.
I'm glad that happened, because I wound up putting it back, and
it wasn't really me without it there.
For the benefit of the newer members, I'll re-tell a shorter version about where the name Raven came from. Raven was my dog, best friend, she stayed by my bed for the 11 months I was laid up from a broken back and neck, and was there when I needed her. When she had to leave me because of a tumor, my tribute to her was adopting her name...not close to what most think the Raven stands for, but it's my way of keeping her with me...

......for the story Raven......what a heartbreaker.....I have had many furbabies.......each one special......but the one I'll miss the most and 4ever is
Attu.....he was half wolf/Samoian he was fearsly loyal and stood past my waist at 140#.....he would guard my truck with all the tools in it and we would walk
the woods and swamp for snakes......he could tell me where they were........and nobody messed with me.....he never attack but he would have had I given the
signal.......Attu was short for attitude!

I guess we all have stories of pets that have gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My last was a Chihuahua named Admiral Timothy--Admiral was the token title given to
him so he would outrank our son who was in the Navy--and Timothy cause he "wasn't any bigger than a timothy seed" from the Bible.
We had him for 14 years and he was the 1st dog in our area to contract Parvo which did him in very suddenly. We can never forget our fur-babies!! |
