I'm watching this very closely for sure........It not a matter of IF but WHEN....I'm fairly safe from these they are about 290 miles WSW of
me.......the ones closer, in Wells, have subsided for the moment although they are accuring about one a day or so,small ones......but a pattern is developing
all around......and I can see it on the map.....there is no doubt that something major will happen, I just pray that people will in the most effected areas,
will take heed......thank you Nanson for keeping up with this.....

It certainly "hold your breath" time......there are faults run under the intire state........I wont be going cave and mine exploring anytime
soon....and would hate to caught on a mountaintop somewhere.....lol....the road I came up on may not be the one I come down on......!
Reno ,just next door to the capital of Carson City had over 100 quakes yesterday and already this morning there at least two dozen.....about 15 minutes they had a 2.0 and still coming......Loves C |

Yikes! I just checked the worldwide earthquake information center, and it's mostly Nevada over the last several days! Hopefully the numerous
"smaller" quakes will keep the pressure from building up too much, and lead to a bigger one. Chey, you take care over there!

The maps do look scary........and you are right Fallstar that the lil ones may be letting off some "steam"..... I havent felt any of the new ones

The "Experts" ( a has been drop, under pressure) says that normally there is the 'big bang" then aftershocks now "they" are saying
that the quakes are working up to the big one with so many lil ones......on the map it looks lke a "wedge" is being formed to do just that......Reno
is bracing for it.....I wish they would all just leave the area......There have been isolated 3.0 or a lil more closer to home,here......to the south and
closer than Wells is.....so we'll see.......Loves C

Seems like a good time for everyone to go on a long vacation. It's hard to imagine going about everyday life while you're waiting for the ground to
open up under you...or the building to come down on top of you.

You are so right Nanson......and thats what most people are doing(sitting there waiting).....at first I didnt know if this was the norm or not.....NOT....from
time to time there has been some activity but not this much in the last 50 years......If I can find some newspaper photos I'll give the link here.......I
do know a lot of fasades have fallen or become unstable.....sores of every kind have had stock damage and one beverage store I saw on TV was almost completely
wiped our of their liquid stock......smaller quakes are occuring as we speak......I have both this area and Reno up and this area hasnt seen anything since
yesterday!
