I have just switched from using BellSouth as my phone provider, to using a VoIP phone instead. The clarity is as good as bellsouth, yeah. My son has Vonage and it's a lot more expensive ( so he's dumping them ).
I have been using both phones for about 8/10 weeks, and finally decided the VoIP company is the way to go. It's $199.00 a year with free long distance anywhere in the USA / Canada, and Puerto Rico, and 3 cents a minute to any other Country.
I also have two phone numbers, my original number, and a new one I give out only to family. The second one is free.

What this link is ( and I've used them all ), is a site that tells you what your internet connection speed is ( up and down ), plus a lot more info about your connection.
And, it's the one VoIP providers have you go to if your using a VoIP phone.
