Big problem with Saving image

Registered User Posts: 54 02/05/08 8:49	Tags : None Hello again, An image or the finished work is saved under jpeg into a file, and going back into it and opening it this pops up: "This is not a valid PSP image file." I cannot get into anything that is saved. How can this be changed to open it up in PSP or to other sites? I save it to jpeg to post on other sites. Thank you, Anrra

If you save an image in PSP 10 you would get that message if you tried to open it in PSP 8 or 9. Do you use the optizmizer when you save? Actually though a jpg should open in any version but you're getting a message about a PSP image not a jpg? There seems to be a missing piece to your puzzle. Can you explain exactly what you're doing when you save?

Registered User Posts: 55 02/05/08 10:32	Hello, You are right, I went into X and it was ok. I was trying to send it to PSP8, didn't work. Save as the work or image and place it into the folder. I do not always use the Optimizer, is it much better to use it that way instead of "Save As?" Thank you. Anrra

Registered User Posts: 56 02/05/08 10:38	Hi, I usually "Save As" and place it in a folder. Sometimes use the Optmizer, but not always, forget about it mostly. Sorry, this particular image was saved as a PSP image, but it still would not open as such. I never thought about opening the image in another PSP that it would not work because it was not done in that particular one. I just thought you could open them in any PSP. This must be the problem. Registered User Posts: 4759 02/05/08 11:18 AWOL From Life	If you want to open it in PSP 8 you can. When you go to save it in PSP 10 you'll see a button for options, click that and save as PSP 8 compatible. You should save as PSP image and not jpg, Jpg should just be finished images.
