I'm making a first year veggie garden.....been working on it for two weeks.....its 20' X 25' ,pulled up 6X8 pretreated ties....and filled it with
dirt....and horse pooky.....I want to plant the above ground crops before the moon wanes but the seed man said that the soil should be at least 65degrees to
plant, in this part of the country.....WELL.....today was the day.....Ha......I was out there taking the ground temp and it started to snow......How rude is
that?
My lil Morning Glory and Hollyhock starts are sitting in an egg carton twiddlin' their lil roots.......LOL!
Ofcourse the dandilions are thriving.........the only color in the yard......the tubbleweed stroll thru the yard, on the way to parts unknown spreading their seeds........the grass peeks up and pops back down! Geeeeeeeeeeeez this is a hard land.......how did the pioneers do it????????
So when you go out into your gardens you can think of me.....LOL!
