I'm not sure how to add the pic to this post (thought I had, but didn't get it right). Anyway if you click on where my photo should be, the image that
is shown is what I am trying to achieve.

That is awesome!!!! I have been playing but without success. Would you mind terribly sending the steps you followed in PSP to acheive this. I have been playing
for 2 days and haven't been successful. The one you did above is beautiful and I would love to achieve the same effect using PSP.

Thank you Pam....I would be glad too!
Let me ask you just a few questions so I know how to proceed! How long have you had X2 and or been using a PSP programe....... and do you work in lyers....and if not, do you know what layers , we can work without the layers but its so much prettier if it is in layers! Loves C

I've actually had PSP for quite some time. I had version 9 then a couple of months ago upgraded to PSP x2 Ultimate - but I also have PSE 7. I used to work
in PSP then got PSE and began using that. But I am finding there are quite a few things in PSE that I can't do such as the above. So I decided to go back
and work with the PSP, but it's been awhile. I do like both programs as I find there are things in each that make it easier for me.
I am familiar with layers and use them quite often as I am a beginner digital scrapbooker. I'm sure there are alot of things I don't know, but I'm learning everyday and alway searching for tutorials to learn more. |

This is going to be easy then.......here is what I did!
on a new canvas........flood fill with Black 2nd layer flood fill with White..... have second layer active......and add your tube Go to Effects/Texture Effects/ Weave ( its at the bottom) this is where you come in......with preview on play with the gap and width of the strip till it suits you! Merge when you are satisfied! Thats it.........! Now in addition to that above ...I buttonized it with the black....... Loves C

find the right photo to use and I'm good. I appreciate your help so much!

You are very welcome,Pam........we are all in this together......
Hint, in using "the right tube".........try the misted ones first....... I think you will really like the effect! Dont forget to show us the results on the Graphics Show Room, for all to see! Happy Weaving Loves C

Hiya Pam.
If you place [url ] in front of your link and [/url ] at the end then the link will become active. (no spaces). For posting an image ... most upload their images to Photobucket and link images from there to here. Photobucket is free to use and you can find it Here. It only takes a couple of minutes to register. When you upload your images they first show up in thumbnail form. Just below each thumbnail you will see some different links. Just copy the bottom one of theese, the one with IMG tags, and paste it into your forum message box. Once you click Submit your image will be embedded within your post. Weave in PSP...can be found under 'Effects' then 'Texture Effects' You can make adjustments to gaps and width as required. Its quite good really.
