I know you can't read minds, so I'll try to describe what I'm trying to do. First off, this is my first post (hurray!), and I'm also just starting to use Paint Shop Pro 7 (got it free from a friend!). I know a lot of the basic stuff, because I've been playing around with it. ANY ideas on how to make an interesting sig (kind of mystical, you know?)?

Welcome to the forum, devilmaycry..
 Yea, reading minds is sometimes a little tricky..  There's a sig background in this thread I made, if you like it you're welcome to use it as a starter for your sig..just try playing some more..maybe you'll get an inspiration.. ..I think the light effects in PSP can help with a mystical look..the text is important, too..you could try just browsing through the posts on the forum for ideas, alsoIf you decide to use that as a sig for this forum you'd have to resize or crop it..the size here is 468 X 60 or less  |

Thanks, in that thread is the link to a Photoshop tutorial that I was looking at, it gives a general idea of how it was done..I used Filters Unlimited and PSP 7 to do it though..

 This image is for another website that I made. For some reason it looks fuzzy. It isn't crisp and clear. Could that be because I transfer my pics from the computer in my room to our office computer via disk? Help! |

When you save it for the web you should go to File>Export>JPEG Optimizer..that will give you a preview so you can optimize as much as possible without losing quality..I usually use 15 for a setting but not always.
If you are saving on disk to transfer you might want to keep it in PSP format so there will no lose of quality |

Almost everyones first " real " creation is their sig. I'm sure you'll come up with something that says it you. Just stick with it, and enjoy.  |
