Local User - your name is already taken AND you really, really, really, want that name.. you only plan on using one ezboard.. ATTENTION: A Local account will not work on any other ezboard. You will only be able to log in from this ezboard.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Global User - you want to use ANY ezboard you want to have one single identity across all ezboards you might create your own ezboard community in the future you want to take advantage of special features for Global users (such as private mail, etc)

Posts: 338 10/02/03 4:20	All that info is well and good Raven but I would like to remind folks that if you are an ezSupporter (I'm good for another year now) and have a Global or Local account you can not change your username without your post count suddenly decreasing to zero! I would have loved to changed my username to LibraryLady11 but if I would have linked to this one which I guess they could consider a master account. I now have a post count of 2441 and after I post this message it should go up by 1. If I were to have a linked account the count would go down to zero and I have been a member of the ezboard community since June 20, 2001. Wish we could just change our userIDs but no we can't. Any prospective member should know this before they join so they do not get disappointed if they ever want to change it.
