to get vista ripped off ROFL I'll tell ya what, sooner or later I'm going to have to get off my wifes PC, and get another ( probably sooner ). I am so not wanting to have V on it. I have had Dell puters almost from the get-go. I get fliers from them about every three months, and promotional email. I have yet to see where they offer to load up XP in place of Vista. Getting me away from 98XE was worse then pulling teeth, but this switch to Vista is going to be worse yet.

I was forced to give up Win98 because of no support at all......that was 6 months ago, I just got this XP, I'll milk it as long as I can......hoping by the
time it runs its course, that something better than Vista is going on!

Raven, most of the major computer companies (Dell included) still offer up rigs with XP. If you go looking, and like Dell, check out their Small Business
category...a lot of the systems come with XP Pro. I bought my Inspiron from the Small Business section.
